FOUNDER AND MANAGER
NERINA MARTINELLI
After an experience in London as a food buyer, he returned to Italy with the aim of enhancing the value of Italian ingredients. He founded Nugolo, starting by establishing a vegetable garden near the restaurant, where he grows 200 varieties of tomatoes. In parallel, he builds a young and energetic team, enriched by Luca and Jacopo, to bring to life a unique project in the Florentine gastronomic scene.

EXECUTIVE CHEF
LUCA GRIMALDI
Born in Scafati in 1992, he finds his true home in Cecina. After completing hotel school, he served in the Alpine Corps. His passion for cooking, cultivated from a very young age, led him to gain numerous experiences in Italy and abroad, working in both starred and non-starred restaurants. Among the cities where he left his mark are Florence, Treviso, Pienza, New York and London.

SOUSCHEF
JACOPO RAGAZZINI
Born in Florence in ’93, passionate about computers and cooking since childhood. Its precision has maximum expression in pastry. After various work experiences in Lisbon, Pienza, Treviso and Fiesole, he joined the Nugolo team.
